Quick recap of what happened from Friday to Sunday!
Friday afternoon, I when to Phil’s school with Joe. They are coaching the 8th grade team (Phil is a teacher there):
It was so fun watching the students play. They are pretty new to the game, but did pretty well anyways! I can see them getting better and better super quickly
Then we had some brothers from church host a movie night. It was pretty cool because almost all the seats were able to recline:
And they projected the movie on the wall. Pretty awesome! Thanks for hosting, Steven and Jeff!
Saturday morning, I made my way over to Sanborn Park to volunteer for the Summit Rock trail race! We were at aid station 1:
Yeah. Being around candies and fruit all day was super fun…
Actually, I was pretty good and didn’t gorge on the sweetness.
Also! There were two kiddos who were looking under all the logs for creepy crawlies:
Indeed, they found many many creatures!
Don’t worry. They were all freed into the wild when it was time to go.

There was skit practice for the Christmas play (just to let you know, I will be playing SCROOGE. It’s actually a very easy role for me to play because I’m already a grouch and yell all the time ;P).
Tammy made this awesome prop:
And we have plenty of other things going on:
So excited for the skit!!!

Saturday night, Joe and I went out for the all-important fro-yo. It has been a long time since we got some:

Sunday morning workout:
Treadmill: 8.0 miles in 67 minutes. I was just changing up the speed here and there, but mostly trying to keep it at an easy 7.1mph pace. 1% incline the whole time
Elliptical: 20 minutes. Dang. I’m finding that the elliptical can be a great cardio machine. Just make sure you jack up the resistance and pedal fast. It’s flippin’ tough!

Church was so wonderful yesterday:
I missed two Sundays, so it was great to just be in the congregation, sing my heart out, and bask in the blessing of this beautiful church and His presence.

The craziest thing is that he’s that good and it’s all self-taught.

All over the place with this post, but as you can see, I was pretty busy. This week is all about my school group presentations and continuing the easy workouts.
Hope you all have a great week!
