I made a banana sweet potato protein pancake and it was SOOOO GOOD. I was greedy and tried to make it work with all the batter. I was able to flip the majority of it properly, but it’s obviously twice as thick as a normal pancake should be:

One baked sweet potato, one large banana, two eggs, and 1 huge scoop of protein powder. This thing has more than 30g of protein. I shouldn’t have eaten the whole thing… but it was just so tasty!
Dangit. Should have worked out and then eaten this giant slapjack of protein.
Also, I love that it doesn’t require any extra sweetener (like syrup). It’s perfect just the way it is
Our Christmas skit is tonight at 5:00pm at NCUMC. We’ve been practicing a lot and I think it would be fun for you to watch the young adult production of A Christmas Carol. We had so much fun working on this skit and plenty of laughs during rehearsals
There’s going to be a nice Christmas party afterwards, so do join us if you can!
Wow. I haven’t done any kind of run in a long long time (Wednesday?)… but I feel okay about it. I think having a random schedule of doing whatever workout I feel like or resting has been nice. It kind of fits the holiday season, yeah?
I used to feel horrible and guilty with my holiday weight gain (usually I slowly put anywhere from 5 to 10 pounds). Hibernating? Extra insulation? I guess.
Lots of articles about how to avoid holiday weight gain everywheres.
For me, it usually comes off during the beginning of the new year… or any time around spring when the weather gets a bit nicer. I just naturally spend more time outside, moving about during the day, etc. etc.
